Play therapy refers to a method of psychotherapy with children in which a therapist uses a child’s fantasies and the symbolic meanings of his or her play as a medium for understanding and communication with the child.
If your child is struggling with the following, then play therapy may benefit them:
Behavioural difficulties (misbehaviour, acting out, tantrums)
Overly emotional (e.g. excessive crying, clinginess)
Anxiety/Fears/Phobias
Anger or outbursts
Bullying (either being bullied or bullying)
Victim of abuse, either physical or sexual
Any noticeable, unusual changes in behaviour or emotional expression may indicate emotional problems

Family therapy is a type of psychotherapy that involves all members of a nuclear family or stepfamily and, in some cases, members of the extended family (e.g., grandparents). The therapist conducts multiple sessions to help families deal with important issues that may interfere with the functioning of the family and the home environment

Working with teenagers can be both challenging and rewarding. Developmentally, teenagers are facing challenges in so many aspects of their lives. They are often exploring their own identities; creating new and meaningful relationships with peers; testing the boundaries of the family and beginning the path of career development
